    Rooms

    An elegant, historic villa from the late 1950s, which since 2006 has been equipped with all modern comforts for a peaceful holiday or a short stopover. The Bed & Breakfast formula, and B&B De Angelis in particular, is built on the “pleasure of hosting”—a modern and highly appreciated concept of hospitality, enhanced by a small number of rooms discreetly nestled in a family setting, creating an immediate and pleasant connection with the local reality and the beauty of the area.

    The bedrooms, distinguished by the characteristic colors of their walls, furnishings, and linens, are spacious, bright, and air-conditioned. They are equipped with private bathrooms, television, and a fridge, as well as wireless internet access. The Bed & Breakfast is also the ideal solution for hosting business partners or clients in a welcoming atmosphere deeply rooted in the local territory.

    B&B De Angelis offers both an outdoor and an indoor breakfast area. Here, in addition to enjoying a rich breakfast, you can access tourist and local information through brochures or directly from the manager, in both Italian and English.

    History

    Bed & Breakfast De Angelis was born from the passion and love for art of Giovanni De Angelis, a Carabinieri Marshal born in Naples in 1908. In the late 1950s, he built his home in Ginosa Marina—which back then was still surrounded only by sand and wild vegetation—and decorated its facade with paintings inspired by the frescoes of the House of the Vettii in Pompeii. The name “De Angelis” derives from both these depictions of little angels (angioletti) and the family surname.

    In 2005, his grandson Domenico Passeri decided to renovate and enhance the family home, transforming it into a welcoming accommodation facility. After a careful renovation, the B&B opened its doors in 2006, keeping the grandfather’s memory alive through photographs and details that tell his story.

    Today, the B&B still offers its guests a family atmosphere, tranquility, and hospitality in the heart of Ginosa Marina, nestled between the sea, the pine forest, and local traditions.

    Services


    The property offers free high-speed Wi-Fi. Thanks to a partnership with a local beach club, guests can book beach umbrellas and sun loungers at discounted rates to enjoy the sea in total relaxation. To explore the region between Puglia and Basilicata, informative materials and bilingual assistance from the manager are available, along with recommendations for partner restaurants. A free shuttle service to and from the railway station is also provided, with a taxi option available upon request for those arriving by plane.

    Eco-sustainability


    Our goal is to continually reduce the environmental impact of our B&B. Our photovoltaic system and solar panels provide electricity and hot water. Guests can refill bottles with fresh water, both still and sparkling, from our purified water dispenser. We use glass bottles, and in the rooms, you will find shampoo, shower gel, and liquid soap dispensers instead of the classic disposable courtesy kits. We pay special attention to waste separation, which follows a door-to-door collection system in the Municipality of Ginosa. Much more can be done, and this is the direction we have chosen… because comfort is important, but the environment we live in is much more important. Help us protect it!
